About Trinity Money Advice
Trinity Money Advice Leicester (TMAL) is run by a group of dedicated and trained volunteers out of Holy Trinity Church for anyone facing significant financial challenges. We are a member of Community Money Advice, a registered charity that helps thousands of people overcome money problems in over 100 money advice centres nationwide. We are here to help people who, for whatever reason, find themselves in debt and need help in finding a solution to the problems they face. We assist individuals, couples or families, whether working or in receipt of pensions or benefits.
Our services are free and open to everybody irrespective of race, ethnic origin, marital status, religion, age, gender, disability, sex and gender re-assignment or sexual orientation.

Annette and her partner have a number of mainly consumer credit debts which they were no longer able to manage. The debt solution which they feel most comfortable with is an agreement with all their creditors to freeze the interest on the accounts and make monthly repayments which are manageable for them.

Ann has a small number of significant debts. As a home owner, the nature of the debts and her circumstances made a Debt Management Plan the best option for her. This enables regular affordable repayments, with no added interest or charges to the accounts.
Community Money Advice (CMA)
TMAL is affiliated to a national, Christian, debt advice, organisation called Community Money Advice (CMA). There are currently (2019) about 150 centres based all around the UK. CMA provides us with training; policy support and oversight to ensure we meet FCA and other legal requirements; debt management software; a Debt Relief Order intermediary service and general support.
