
Our Work
A number of people at Holy Trinity Church Leicester have a concern for, both inside and outside the church, struggling with debt and the problems it can cause.
As a result a working group was formed and the result of their work has been the formation of
Trinity Money Advice Leicester (TMAL) to provide a money advice service.
The vision is to make a difference to people, materially, mentally and spiritually.
- At 31st December 2010 personal debt in the UK stood at £1,452 billion
- Average household debt (including mortgages) was £57,608
- 1,000 people are seeking some form of debt resolution every day

We are here to help people who, for whatever reason, have found themselves in debt and need help to find a way out. We are able to offer support, guidance and counseling. We provide the following services:
- Assisting clients - with basic money skills such as offering budget advice and guidance
- Debt management - helping clients to sort out the debts they have and assessing their financial position
- Negotiating with creditors - where clients are unable to meet their debts trying to make arrangements with their creditors to get agreement to phased or partial payment or complete write off.
Please note that we cannot assist with business debt or provide any form of investment or regulated financial advice or give any form of financial support.
